A well equipped property in an ideal location. A very comfortable stay. Ideal for a winter/spring holiday. Would benefit greatly from having a microwave to improve self catering. In all other respects, first class facilities.

Excellent but...

The flat is just as it appears in the photos. It is stylish and interesting with some unusual art work and really excellent light fittings. The sitting room has 2 lovely huge sofas and the room between the sitting room and the kitchen has two more together with a formal sofa in the kitchen diner and another one in the master bedroom! Some storage, especially for clothes would have been appreciated over the surfeit of sofas! Apart from a small hanging rail in each bedroom there is no where to unpack and no space for suitcases to be kept in the bedrooms so that you can easily access your clothes. The beds are very firm and the 'double' is just two singles almost pushed together...beware the gap as they tend to move on their own over the wooden floor. The shower rooms are light and airy although in each, the bracket for the shower head is placed way too high and is not adjustable so any real water pressure fires the water out of the enclosure and over the shower room floor! There is however plenty of hot water. The kitchen island is well equipped and the microwave/combi-oven worked well and were very easy to use. There is plenty of crockery etc. The swimming pool whilst very small ( approximately 6 strokes from one end to the other) was lovely and warm and very well maintained. The flat is on the second floor of a very well maintained building and there is no lift. It overlooks the main street of Luchon and has lovely big windows and a balcony.The bedrooms are at the back away from this road so busy traffic is not a problem. In conclusion, overall this is an excellent flat which would benefit from one or two small improvements especially as far as clothes storage is concerned.
