We two 70 plus experienced renters had a great fortnight in this unusual house and delightful town. The description is accurate but we have 2 reservations, neither very serious. First, while the 3 bedrooms are spacious there's a lack of comfortable sitting facilities. Second, the outside area is rather unkempt - the bushes need trimming & weeds cleared. The property is well equipped for cooking and was very clean on our arrival. The owners are very helpful but not intrusive, and Olivier speaks good English. Street parking is handy, but we prefered to use a small carpark about 100 yards away. The town is better than described with lots of seating on the river banks and a lot of boat traffic through the lock. We used the cafe "Les 2 Terasses" & the restaurants Olivier recommended. Very good value for money.
