Enjoyed our stay at Villa Rossi. Very comfortable,spacious,clean,well equipped. Pleasant private garden and patio. Only a short level walk to Salies with shops restaurants and bars. Excellent weekly market. Ideal location to explore the surrounding area. I would recommend this property.

Away from it all!

We have just spent two weeks at this charming, rustic property and have had a great time. Our boys aged 3, 7 and 9 absolutely loved the pool and despite it not being a heated pool, they couldn't keep away. The house is old and the stairs creak but for us that added to the charm of the property. La Bowdette is spacious as well as cosy and very well equipped (there were even scales and baking tin so I could make our youngest his birthday cake). The house has excellent facilities (the water pressure in the shower was divine) and every detail has been thought through, there was a plentiful supply of towels and beach towels, the use of a very up do date washing machine and dryer made staying here very enjoyable. Alison the housekeeper was on hand for local advice and even popped in a couple of times to check everything was ok which was very reassuring. The only reason for four stars would be the need for a car if you stay here, to fully appreciate the surrounding area and to get to local amenities a car is a must. Thank you for a great stay, we explored the local area and beyond and can fully recommend the following: Auberge Claverie, Auberge de la Fontaine, Rafting 64, Train Artouste, Bettharem Caves, Navarrenx, Chateaux de Laas and access to the river is very easy just turn left onto main road and watch for a Acces Gave sign on you right (great spot for a BBQ or picnic).
