  • Fabulous gîte, fabulous views, fabulous people

We can’t thank Paul and Pam enough for making our stay in their fabulous gîte an extremely relaxing and enjoyable experience - so much so that we are already planning to return later this summer. The accommodation has an immaculate contemporary interior, is spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a stress-free and relaxing holiday. The welcome pack including water, milk, eggs, ham, cheese, bread (I may have forgotten something there was so much), Pam’s truly delicious home-made jams and chutneys and bottles of local wines was a very generous, kind and thoughtful touch that was very much appreciated. After a long drive it tasted all the more delicious – thank you! The pool area and accompanying views over the rolling landscape, neighbouring vineyards and fields of sunflowers makes the heart sing and provides a lasting memory of our time spent in a fabulous location. Our hosts were attentive, friendly and helpful but never intrusive, offering advice on the local area and cuisine. We were very sad to leave but we are definitely going to return. On the day we left Pam and Paul very generously included us on their day out, taking us to see the Tour de France as it passed through the local area. This was a truly special end to our holiday. Thank you Paul and Pam for everything you have done to make our holiday special – see you soon.

  • Lovely house in rural location

The location, although peaceful and quiet with lots of opportunities for walks, was very close to the village and it's facilities (4 bars and restaurants, bakery, bank). The supermarket (Carrefoure) is well stocked including fresh meat and veg and open long hours so need to stop en route from airport. The house is clean and well maintained with all the equipment you will need - the information on the website is very accurate with recent photos. We never tired of the ever changing view - shame the sunflowers had been harvested though. We enjoyed visiting the local picturesque villages especially Marciac and the market at Eauze on Thursday. We even made it up the 197 steps to the top of the tower in Bassous! Larresingle is worth a visit too although it is very small. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone who wants a quiet and restful holiday.
