Things to do

-Beaches. Juan les Pins, Cap d’Antibes and the Antibes waterfront offer a range of beaches. Plage de la Gravette, next to the Old Town, is suitable for families thanks to its gentle surf and shallow water. At the public Plage La Joilette and Plage Le Rocher on the picturesque Cap d’Antibes are various amenities including sunbed and parasol rental, and cafes.

-Shopping. The Juan les Pins area, just west of the old town features upscale and hip, independent boutiques, while the old town itself is known for its numerous small art galleries. The Marché Provençal on Cours Massena is also essential – it’s a traditional covered market with local fresh produce, where you can also buy artisan items on summer afternoons.

-History. The Old Town is home to an attractive tangle of narrow streets, home to stylish cafes, restaurants and designer shops. It’s also still protected by centuries old defensive walls. Interesting sights include the cathedral, which is a National Monument, and the fortress, which dates to the 1500s.

-Dining. The Old Town, harbour and Juan les Pins boast plenty of excellent restaurants and cafes, many of which enjoy beautiful sea views. Here you can enjoy Provençal cuisine, made up of local specialties like Salad Nicoise, and lots of excellent seafood, but also classic French cuisine.

-Museums. The 14th Century Grimaldi Castle houses a museum devoted to the work of Pablo Picasso, who set up his studio here in 1946 and became a citizen of Antibes in 1957. There’s also an archaeology museum set within the defensive walls, as well as Marineland, a sea-life attraction featuring aquariums and demonstrations by orcas and dolphins.

Beautiful Apartment in a Perfect Location

5 of 5
We stayed at this beautiful apartment for one week at the beginning of September and cannot recommend it enough! The apartment was spotlessly clean, loved all the quirky little details and the overall design and layout of the space. Super comfy bed, bedlinen and pillows, excellent kitchen with all the appliances and gadgets necessary! Was a real bonus having the massive TV with Apple TV linked up to it, really nice extra - especially when theres a storm outside! Was also great having the two sets of french doors the opened onto Juliet balconies. Was the perfect little base to explore Antibes, as well as the rest of the Cote D'Azur! 5 minutes walk from the beach, close to supermarkets, shops and restaurants but still surprisingly quiet and peaceful! Extra thanks go to Karen and Bill for making our whole holiday run so smoothly. Was great being picked up from the airport by Bill and taken straight to the apartment to meet Karen without having to worry about train times, bus timetables and negotiating jam packed trains with heavy suitcases! Great having Karen on hand throughout the holiday too incase we had any queries/problems! All in all we honestly can't recommend this perfect little pad enough!

Lovely apartment in an ideal, central location

5 of 5
This is one of the best apartments we've found in Antibes; well equipped, modern and with a real quality feel. Booking was easy, and all the arrangements were made quickly and efficiently. It's also in a great spot, really near the Port and a quick walk into the old town. A great week, thanks.
