Unforgettable

The house looks good in the pictures but in real life it is much better, the surroundings and views are amazing and it is easy to sit on the terrace and lose yourself in your thoughts looking out over the landscape. The pool was definitely big enough for the four of us (two adults and two children - 4 & 5 year old) and was much easier than having an outside pool as we didn't need to worry about putting suncream on the kids constantly. The house has all of the amenities that you could possibly want and is to a very high standard. The garden offers so much, with horses, cows, chickens and the occasional friendly cat and dog, our children were very happy. Our next door neighbour (a very friendly lady who unfortunately we couldn't chat with more as we have limited french) even brought round fresh eggs laid by her hens. The local village of Liré has a small supermarket etc but if you go 5 minutes more across the bridge to Ancenis then there are lots of restaurants and shops. There is nothing about the house or surrounding area that could have made our holiday better, we have arrived home with lots of fond memories and feeling very happy.

Well we've been back 2 weeks now and I can sum this holiday up in one word WOW we loved it 2 weeks of fantastic weather and peace and tranquillity the location was great just a little walk to the local village where there was a little supermarket and a pharmacy and a patisserie or you could take a 20 minute drive to the larger supermarket we stayed in the farmhouse as there was 6 of us 2 couples and 2 children and it was very comfortable and plenty of space . The children especially enjoyed the pool in the garden and the very warm welcome we received of glen and Yvonne and the girls we were made to feel like friends my 6 year old son made 2 friends for life with the 2 dogs buttons and rascal !! We chose this holiday mainly because we wanted to do some fishing and fish we did over 150 fish in 2 weeks and we didn't fish everyday as it was nice to relax and have a bbq in the garden we also enjoyed going riding it was fab my 11 year old daughter loved going into the stables and pottering about and helping out she learned so much from Yvonne . If you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful holiday I would recommend staying here it really is a beautiful amazing place so much so that we have already booked for next year and we can't wait to see you guys then
