Had a great time staying in Giez and didn't want to leave. Accommodation was clean and very comfortable. The view from the terrace is amazing and had sun most of the morning and a little again in the evening. Wifi would have been a bonus but was also good for my kids to have a device detox ;'l They enjoyed the pool and table tennis. Staff at reception are friendly and helpful, tennis was €10 Euro to hire the court for an hour and racquets and balls provided.

Fantastic little studio apartment in great location to explore Lake Annecy and surrounds.

Lovely little studio room in an easy to find complex at the south end of the lake. Everything required for a great little holiday - Jane provides loads of information on things to do in the area and there is every amenity you would need. (Note - no hair dryer or oven for info). Swimming pool area is small but offers great views - check opening times with reception as it's not open all day, and there is a boule area, activity room and small children's outdoor play equipment including a trampoline. A car / bike is essential to see the lake and villages around it but there are plenty of walking routes on your doorstep and the purpose built cycle path to Annecy is at the bottom of the lane. Faverges (5 mins drive) has good supermarkets and bakeries. We found this the perfect base to explore both sides of the lake, and Annecy, without being stuck in the city and it's crazy busy Old Town and beaches. If you want something quieter, try Giez. Jane could not have been more helpful prior to our holiday and answered all our questions quickly and fully, which gave us really good vibes about our holiday before we even got there.
