Make a holiday rental villa or apartment in Bourse, Paris your home away from home

The 2nd Arrondissement of Paris, Bourse, is most famous for its huge stock exchange, the Bourse des Valeurs. Located in the commercial heart of Paris, Bourse is a lively and well connected section of the city, used by visitors as a great base for exploring the multitude of attractions that have made Paris the tourist beacon it is.

Things to do on holiday in Bourse, Paris

The Bourse des Valeurs was commissioned by Napoleon, and is as imposing and impressive as anything in Paris. The 64 Greek style columns which surround the exterior give the building a temple style appearance, and it is well worth visiting if you are staying in accommodation in the area, especially as the French stock exchange still operates from within.

This part of Paris is awash with culture. Many of the city’s finest galleries, shops and theatres are found in Bourse, and you can almost always find an excellent production or Opera to enjoy after visiting one of the world-class restaurants which surround a Bourse apartment. The Paris Tourist Information offices can provide full listings of events in Bourse if you require.

Places to visit on holiday in Bourse, Paris

The largest attraction of taking an apartment in Bourse is your proximity to everything Paris has to offer. Waking up in your own Paris city centre apartment, eating breakfast with a coffee on a balcony overlooking the streets of Paris is a truly memorable experience, letting you choose what sights to see, attractions to visit and, of course, where to eat!

Weather in Bourse, Paris

There is never a bad time to take holiday rental accommodation in Bourse, Paris. In the summer months, temperatures are much the same as those of southern England in summer, with daily highs reaching around 26˚C. In winter, temperatures can regularly be frosty, which only adds to the beauty and crispness of the Parisian skyline. In fact, Paris in winter can be even more beautiful than it is in the summer. The streets, restaurants and attractions are certainly less crowded.

Travel to Bourse, Paris

Reaching an apartment in Bourse, Paris, could hardly be easier from the UK. With two international airports receiving flights into Paris from the UK and an excellent high speed train service from London, you should have no trouble in starting your Bourse holiday. If you are travelling via the Metro, Bourse station is clearly signed on Line 3.

On the Street Paris Lives

5 of 5
This best thing about this home away from home in the amazing world city of Paris is it is smack on the hippest street in the city. Restaurants, cafes, shops - vibrant "real" Paris right outside your door. OK, bit of a climb up to drop your bags but once settled you can walk to Marais, Notre Dame, the Champs Elysees, the Louvre. Metro station around the corner. It is the Location Location Location pad. Quiet at night because the bedroom not on the street. And that street is French and you don't feel like a tourist. You can go local and you will find the French people are not rude but most often helpful - even in English! The famous Kayser bakery across the street for the morning fuel up. And those with the addiction can have their Starbucks Chai Latte, no foam, no water, extra hot, just a few feet away from the entry door. Jean-Francois is a highly professional host who is flexible, communicates in excellent English and very responsive. Not cheap but think of the saving compared to staying in an out of the way hotel with tiny room at the same price. After all that walking to historic sights, lunching and wine drinking you need a roomy place to crash and reboot and wash your skinny jeans for those who like to travel light. Stayed for only two nights but helped us "get" the Paris vibe from start to finish. Easy to access from Gare du Nord - short metro ride or reasonable cab journey.
