            Absolute dream of a holiday

            5 of 5
Stayed here in March and had a fabulous time. Could not fault the place whatsoever!! We were met straight from the airport by the owner's manager and he helped us settle in. He spoke very good english and was basically at our beck and call. The apartment was clean, spacious and we spent most of the time sunbathing on the terrace overlooking the river Nile and sometimes would stay around the pool. Weather was great. Would recommend this to anyone as really enjoyed it. Plenty of other english people there who were friendly and there was a real relaxed atmosphere. It was good to get away for two weeks. Would definitely go back!!

            an oasis in Luxor

            5 of 5
This is a large, clean and well-appointed apartment, part of a small complex built around a quiet and leafy courtyard -- really an oasis to come back to after the noise and hassle of a day of tourism. The west bank is much more relaxed than the east bank heart of luxor, but the action is easily reached by ferry or motor boat (plenty available). The owners are very friendly and helpful and can organise any tour you want in and around Luxor. They offer a good breakfast in the courtyard for only a few euros extra and have a bar where you can buy water, beer etc for no more than you'd pay at the local store. Good places to eat close by. Being a tourist in Egypt can be a challenge and can be tiring. I recommend Eyehouse as a calm and friendly place to come home to each day.
