Lovely ,clean and peaceful villa

4 of 5
We have just returned from a weeks stay in this villa. From the outside the villa looks a little weather worn , to be expected with the Cyprus climate, however once inside the villa it was spotlessly clean. The rooms were light and airy with everything as described in the overview. The American style fridge freezer was a blessing, as was the large smart screen tv , with sky package as well. Having stayed in villas around Cyprus for the last ten years or so, this villa was as well equipped , if not better, than most. I must say that the swimming pool definitely was the cleanest we have ever had. The villa is situated in a quiet part of Peyia so a car is necessary as everything is up or down hill. The owners were very easy to contact and from the outset every thing was explained and e-mailed to us. We wil be recommending this property to our friends and family, and would hope to return again soon. Thanks to Derek ,the owner , for a wonderful week.

Great value for money villa in a great location, with a fab pool and garden .

4 of 5
Overall we had a great family holiday here, we have stayed in other villas in the area and would return here if a few things were addressed. I would suggest a change of cleaner , I had to clean the bathrooms and kitchen before we were able to use them and the floors could have done with a sweep and mop, but nothing that wasn't easily sorted by us. The location is Peyia, so just up the hill from Coral Bay, I would recommend a car, we hired ours through Savvas, he was recommended through Chris, he met us at the airport, sorted the car very quickly and even took us to the villa. We arrived late at night and found a welcome pack which was great as the children were hungry, we also managed to get a few cold beers from a local bar in Coral Bay to take away. Phillipos supermarket is 5 mins drive away so we were able to stock up the next day, the freshly made kebabs are fab, we would recommend the lamb, delicious, the deli counter there is great and the ladies really helpful and the instore bakery produced delicious pastries and warm pittas fresh from the oven. There are a number of great restaurants and bars in Coral Bay, but if you have younger children, The Moorings in Paphos has a great air conditioned clean soft play, they also deliver great service and the food is amazing. We drove to Latchi which is about 35 mins in the car through the hills , stunning views and we lunched at La Plage, right on the beach with a welcome breeze, food was great, the beach was also lovely and the water safe for children and the warmest we have ever known ! The villa itself would have achieved a 5 star rating if the beds could be changed, part of a holiday is a good nights sleep, but the mattresses are lumpy and awful, new mattresses and pillows would be a benefit. The shower could also do with updating, but it worked so it wasn't an issue. The terrace and pool were superb, the views amazing we enjoyed many glorious sunsets and wonderful hot and sunny days around the pool, which was cleaned twice whilst we were there. The grounds were well kept and pretty. If it's important to you then the wifi is good , TV and DVD .. I wouldn't bother, I couldn't get the DVD to work and there were very limited channels, which wasn't great when trying to get children out of the sun for a few hours, but we had tablets, so the wifi was welcome. In summary if you are looking for a good value for money villa in a private location, with a fab pool, then you can't go wrong
