We stayed at the apartment over Christmas and the New Year 2018/19 and although the weather in our last week was some of the worst we have ever experienced in Cyprus we still had a great time thanks to the wonderful space and features of this superb accommodation.
The complex itself is of a medium size with three distinct sections each with its own pool area that helps give the impression of a much smaller and more personal space to enjoy a relaxing break. Set on a small hill in a local and mainly residential area, Anarita is a quiet village with few amenities. There are a couple of restaurants close by but the nearest mini-market is in the lower village of Timi which you pass through to reach Anarita, alternatively there is a larger supermarket a couple of miles away on the main road to Paphos. The airport is literally 5-10 minutes drive away and there is a quiet local beach within easy reach with a little "shack" selling beers etc and an excellent playlist from the 80's and 90's. A great place to while away a few hours for someone of our generation.
I have to recommend car hire if staying here as most facilities are beyond normal walking distance, but to be honest you would want to be free enough to explore the local area and it's easy access to the Troodos mountains anyway.
In terms of the apartment, we had everything provided that we needed with just a couple of notable exceptions, namely spare bedding, and a drying facility. We were there for three weeks and would have benefitted from a cleaning service (although to be fair to the owner this was available at an additional cost) however we chose to do our own cleaning etc and sadly due to the weather issues this was slightly more difficult due to the lack of a tumble dryer or outside hanging space. A small fold-up rack was great for clothes etc but of little value to bedsheets.
The only other issue we had (bearing in mind it was winter) was locating the water heater switch which is an unmarked obscure switch next to the main bathroom door, so Colin it might be worth taking a few moments to knock up a welcome book to explain the apartment features and how to use them for future guests?
Having said all this, we cannot fault the level of quality of any part of this apartment and we can easily see how in the summer months this would be a truly wonderful, quiet, relaxing place to stay and enjoy all the experiences that Cyprus has to offer.
I thouroughly recommend this stunning apartment to all.
We loved our 6 night stay at the apartment , perfect for the 3 of us over half term week traveling with our 14 year old daughter
Lovely hot days even at the very end of October but cooler nights . Visited Paphos Harbour and Aphrodite Rock on the public bus . Went to the Zeus beach Club booked via the nearby hotel .
Enjoyed swimming in the cold water of the communal pool and sunbathing . Ate out in restaurants at the Village Square all very good. Prices at the supermarket were high -I picked up a pack of tomatoes thinking they were 80cents to discover they were 8euros . Not worth self catering-so has its plus points. Lovely real coffee and croissants from the bakery in the supermarket were enjoyed especially with the fabulous balcony views .We did try the golf club breakfast buffet which was very nice one morning .
Highly recommended, very good host Rob who was able to provide transport too and from the airport for a fair price .I should also add the place was spotless .
