  • Lovely stay

The house is in a very good location, not far from anywhere really - close to Rovinj (about 25 mins), Pula and very close to the lovely old village of Svetvincenat. It also wasn’t far to the east side of Istria which we also visited once. It is in a very rural little hamlet, so not really anything to do within walking distance. We particularly liked the pool and garden, both of which were very well maintained. The house is quite traditional and enormous with large rooms and loads of general space, we thought it could take more people for the size of the place (it there were more beds). Make sure you go and buy wine from the seller up the street, was a good white wine for about £2.50 for a litre. It is also nice to go for a drink in Svetvincenat. The hosts were friendly and available and quickly met our requests.

  • Gorgeous villa in a beautiful part of the world
    5 of 5

Our group (four adults and five children -13 yrs, 9yrs, 8yrs, 7yrs and 5 months) had a wonderful two week stay at this lovely villa which is spacious, well laid out, clean and set in a great garden with a super pool. Our hosts were helpful, responsive and generous. Istria itself is a little gem and the villa is in a great place meaning that you are never more then 30 minuets away from anything you might like to enjoy: fantastic rocky coves and beaches; beautiful hill top towns; delicious restaurants and tonnes of outdoor activities including horse riding, walking, canoeing, zip-wiring and climbing. At the end of our stay we all felt happy, thoroughly rested and quite exhilarated by the amount of fun things we had packed in.
