Things to do

-Hiking and biking: Adrenaline junkies residing in Splitska holiday homes have plenty to quench their thirst for adventure. They can take part in downhill mountain biking in which they’ll cycle down from the highest point of the nearby island of Donji Humac. Those who prefer a more tranquil way of exploring Splitska’s flora and fauna can do the 45-minute walk to Skrip or a half an hour stroll to Postire.

-Water sports: Among the outdoor activities available to holidaymakers are kayaking adventures in the Adriatic. There are also organisations that offer rafting expeditions in nearby Dubrovnik. Sea lovers can also charter a yacht from the ACI Marina to go on a tour of the Adriatic Islands. Those who prefer to tackle the Dalmatian coast in more modest means can do so in small wooden traditional boats.

-Food and drink: There are a number of great places to wine and dine close to Splitska holiday rentals. At Panorama visitors will not only taste excellent Croat delicatessen delicacies, they’ll have incredible views over the coastline at their mercy. Cafes and bars where visitors can recline with their beverage of choice are available as well.

-Beaches: We cannot talk of touring the Dalmatian Coast without talking about places from which one can recline and soak up the summer sun. Not far from most holiday apartments in Splitska are the picturesque beaches of Postira where visitors can swim in shallow waters and enjoy long promenades.

A great house in a nice little Croatian port

5 of 5
We spend a week in this house in July and this is where we spent our best moments in Croatia. The house itself is very pleasant to stay in and has a lot of charm. The renovation has been done with a lot of taste and the result is great. The location is also very convenient, close to the port, to the local shop and to the Splitska restaurants. Splitska is a quiet port (which is not that easy to find in July in Croatia). To sum it up, we really hope to be back in Splitska!

Lovely villa, stunning views!

5 of 5
Villa Kolacje is truly lovely. The pictures can't do it justice. The location is very quiet and relaxing and the views, especially from the upstairs balcony, are amazing. The pool area is very nice with a fair size pool and plenty of space for everyone to chill out, getting out of the sun under umbrellas or shady areas if need be. Inside, the villa is well equipped with plenty of towels, linen and utensils. There's only a very small cooker/hob in the kitchen but the BBQ is very easy to use and much nicer than cooking indoors. The villa is a few minutes drive from Splitska, Postira and Supetar - all great places to eat and drink. There are plenty of beaches to choose from but a car is essential to get to them. Boris kindly helped us hire a car on the Island. Boris and his family could not have been more helpful or welcoming - thanks for a great stay!
