Great Discovery...

5 of 5
It was a fabulous stay in this great townhouse in split. We were a group of friends on an adventure..across Croatia... The house had all the amenities we needed and it was quite stylish. And this location had a whole host of amenities like restaurants, bars...and the Diocletian palace was a stones throw away... Staying here made us feel very much at home, like a local.

Amazing property and location

5 of 5
“Amazing location! Apartment was beautifully decorated - very comfortable beds, lovely linen, fantastic rain showers. Everything was top quality - fast wifi, aircon was great. A well appointed apartment, with everything you could possibly want! The balcony was lovely to sit out on. The apartment was literally a 5 minute walk to the beach, with access to lovely restaurants to enjoy a meal for any time of day. The apartment owner was brilliant - so helpful, nothing was to much trouble! Such a wonderful experience!” Wendy United Kingdom

When we arrived at the apartment Tanja was waiting for us. She was a very kind and helpful hostess

When we arrived at the apartment Tanja was waiting for us. She was a very kind and helpful hostess and with google translate we got along very well and solved a small problem with a water heater. The apartment is in a great, quiet location – close to a supermarket and the city - but you have to be aware that there are steep steps leading up to it when you come from the shop or some steps and a steep road when you come back from town. We also found it sometimes hard to find a parking space for our rental car in the small road. The greatest feature of this accommodation is a fantastic roof terrace with a stunning view over the marina, the sea and islands. The furniture was older but comfortable and the kitchen very well equipped which we appreciated as we did quite a bit of cooking. However, the apartment is in need of some updating and repair. The weather was quite cold when we arrived and the big sliding terrace door didn’t close so that we had to stuff the gap with paper and rags. People should also know that the steps leading up to the bed- and bathroom in the attic are very steep. We went with older friends who would not have been able to get up there and even we found that we had to be careful getting up and down. Overall though we think this apartment is worth the money, we recommend it and would come back if we visited the area again.
