Superb! Comfortable, well positioned and private

I can't rate this villa highly enough. As others have said, 'what you see is what you get' - no tricks of photography. The villa has been furnished to a very high quality and, most importantly, the beds are comfortable. The surroundings are quiet (you will even see Mink nearby!) and private. The owners are delightfully helpful (giving you complete privacy or helping you to plan your trip, as you prefer). You will need a car. One note of caution (nothing to do with the villa) is that if you eat out, it is better to eat at established, non-seasonal restaurants otherwise you could be waiting in excess of 1.5h for service at coastal seasonal restaurants - that's if you don't give up beforehand!! If you like the equivalent of 'Brighton of the UK' experience, head for Opatija or, if you like medieval villages with cobble streets, there is no shortage with Rovinj, Buzet, Motovun, Labin etc etc. especially nice. I have no hesitation in recommending this villa to other guests - oh, and by the way, do take time to go up to the highest point behind the villa (Vela Ucka) for the fabulous views of the region and islands.
