Beautiful central villa with excellent facilities and loads of space.

5 of 5
The villa was exceptional with fabulous facilities. Not only was the house spacious and clean with everything you needed for a pleasant stay, but the outside extra space was amazing. A glorious swimming pool, 2 sun terraces, bbq area, lawned area and balcony. You can walk to all the different beaches on Lumbarda from the house in about 10 mind, or borrow the bikes. Supermarket is 2 mins ride down the hill. We will definitely come back again.

Great ! ! I would go back tomorrow ......

5 of 5
We had excellent weather and only two of us occupying the villa but it was great ! I would go back tomorrow. The villa has two good sized bedrooms, adequate self catering equipment and internal space. But what really makes the place is the outdoor space - the property extends, terrace by terrace to its own concrete promontory on to beautiful, clear sea with a view across to the island opposite. At the same level as the villa itself is a shaded dining terrace, a couple of levels down is a decent sized pool which gets a lot of sun and a couple of levels below that is the sea. The terraces are covered in pine and olive trees down to the water. There are neighbours but we were not particularly conscious of them so the property seems quiet and secluded. The public beach is 5 minutes walk away and there is a beach bar there which might prove to be noisy in the height of summer but did not trouble us. Parking is in the shade off the road and Vela Luka - supermarkets, bars, restaurants is 10 minutes drive away. The only downside is that, given the terraces down to the sea, the villa might not be suitable for small children and /or the disabled. Also, a minor oddity is that the electric power is augmented by a generator which is only on for 2 hours at a time each day. This might be inconvenient if you wanted the A/C on all day or were intent on doing a lot of oven cooking ! Luka Grgorev was a charming and helpful host who replied quickly to any questions we had.
