This apartment is in a super location in a trendy area of Santiago. It was clean and had a basic kitchen where we were able to make the meals we wanted. We chose to only have our breakfast there while eating out at one of the many good restaurants located within a few minutes walking distance. It is also a great location for walking to many sights including the Central Market, Forestal Park (don't miss it) and the Bellavista neighbourhood. Having said that the unit is a bit dated in its furniture and amenities. For our stay of 3 days it was totally fine. One thing to be aware of is that with the super location overlooking a courtyard of bars and restaurants comes a bit of noise. We did not find it unacceptable but depending on how good a sleeper you are you might have difficulty getting to sleep. The concierge/door person was very helpful in getting us to our room as well as finding the closest super Mercado.

We were very happy with the apartment. It has a great view of the city, and there are a lot of good restaurants right in the area. It is also right next to a Metro station, but we never used it as it was within walking distance of most everything we wanted to do. The host was very attentive to our needs. We liked it so much we booked the same location again to stay for a few nights when we returned to Santiago after a week long trip to Argentina.
