Make a holiday rental, home, or villa in the Caribbean your home away from home
Caribbean, West Indies
Caribbean holidays promote images of transparent waters, white powdery sand, exotic birds and cocktails. This is of course true, but considering the 7,000 islands and reefs which make up the Caribbean, it is hard to make a rule to cover all Caribbean villas. No two Caribbean holidays are the same. Some are rugged, mountainous volcanic islands, and others are flat and sandy; the diverse landscapes from cloud forests to cactus scrublands mean the Caribbean is an international conservation biodiversity hotspot.
Places to Holiday in the Caribbean
Looking for Caribbean property, resort or rental villa requires choosing an island first! Of the 7,000 islands, many stand out, and all for different reasons:
Antigua – has a tremendous number of soft powder beaches, and with an almost unbroken coral reef around it, the beaches are fantastic places to snorkel. Antigua is also the home of one of the region’s most important bird sanctuaries. The world famous Antigua Sailing Week is at the end of April
Bahamas – 700 islands, including Nassau, Long Island, Cat Island, Bimini to mention a few, and plenty of Caribbean villas to choose from. Each island in the Bahamas is unique, but they all share the clearest water in the world, with 200 feet of visibility.
Barbados – A flat coral island, with incredible geological structures, and a depth of art, music and culture. The north of the island boasts fantastic surfing, deep sea fishing and swimming with turtles, which is very popular.
Dominican Republic – Mountainous and covered in rainforests, the Dominican Republic offers excellent hiking, and the rivers, waterfalls and saltwater lakes mean that there are a wealth of creatures to be marveled at!
Jamaica – Rich in culture, the home of reggae, Jamaica, the Caribbean’s 3rd largest island caters for everyone. If you like lying on a beach, partying, diving, or the three R’s (reggae, reefs and rum), then a holiday villa in Jamaica is perfect for you. Not to be missed is the Blue Lagoon.
Trinidad & Tobago – Trinidad, the livelier of the two islands, and Tobago, with its selection of white or pink beaches come alive with the Carnival, two days of colour and calypso music.

Temperatures are between 20°C and 30°C all year round. The trade winds are fairly constant, and therefore keep the climate refreshing and warm all year, meaning that there is never a bad time to take a last minute rental villa on a Caribbean holiday.
