What can I say apart from a fantastic villa. Spotlessly clean, everything you needed for your stay. When we arrived the owners met us showed us round etc lovely people couldnt do enough for you. The garden was amazing and so well maintained, plenty of sunbeds and beach towels. We will be going back next year. A lovely gated complex, 5 minutes walk from back gate to shops and restaurants in Faro park. The taxi meets you by the gate when you call them, around 5 euros each way to Playa Blanca. All in all I wish i was still there, you are doing a great job Aitor xx keep up the good work.

  • Perfect base for our family holiday

Perfect base for our family holiday of 2 adults and 2 kids under 10. House well equipped with everything we needed to cook meals everyday during our 7 night stay (including using the bbq), thank you for the items left for our arrival. Supermarket only a short walk away near a small playground for top-ups, although got our big shop from supermarket in Playa Blanca. House clean and tidy, and pool was of course an instant hit with the kids - they went in it every day, sometimes twice a day. Not too overlooked by neighbours, and lovely view. Beautiful but a bit rocky/pebbly beach a short 20 mins walk up and over the hill to the beaches of Papagayo, which were beautiful. Kids preferred beach on way to Playa Blanca called Dorada Beach with lifeguards, sun beds to rent and no rocks/pebbles to walk over to get into the sea. We did all the usual sites of Lanzarote - i'd visited as a teenager so was lovely to be back with my kids. We hired a car and drove around the island which was best for us with the kids as we could go out as and when, however there are bus tours to all tourist destinations. We went to the Timanfaya National Park and ate our lunch in the restaurant at the top of the volcano (restaurant shuts at 3.30pm) - we got there at about 1.30pm and it wasn't too bad a wait. We did have to queue for 45 minutes in the national park as a car - coaches go straight through. Would definitely advise eating a meal there - reasonably priced and they do kids portions. We did the beautiful Jameos del Agua and the amazing caves at Cueva de los Verdes on the same afternoon, and wasn't too busy after lunchtime - all the bus tours were emptying. My kids loved the caves so make sure you don't miss it! We ate twice at the Rubicon Marina where it felt less touristy, and would recommend that area. However the ice cream everywhere was fantastic! Overall we had a wonderful week, and kids keen to visit Lanzarote in the future. This villa is a welcoming base to come back to after a daytrip, and I would definitely recommend it. Thank you Iain so much for your hospitality - we hope to return soon!
