Make A Holiday Rental Villa in Majanicho, Fuerteventura, Your Home Away From Home

Set on the northern side of the island of Fuerteventura is Majanicho. Once a small, unofficial village, it is now home to a growing tourist complex. By taking a holiday rental villa in Majanicho, you will be fully able to enjoy the wonderful beaches, great weather and laid back feel that this part of Fuerteventura has to offer. Fully-equipped self catering accommodation in Majanicho has everything you need to feel comfortable and at home, offering a sense of independence which is lost whilst staying at a hotel.

Things to Do on Holiday in Majanicho, Fuerteventura

Fuerteventura is rightly famous for its water sports, and a holiday in Majanicho would not be complete without trying at least one of them. You could take your pick from surfing, windsurfing and paragliding. If this all seems a little energetic, then simply fly a kite along the beach! If you feel like a cycle ride, then the larger town of Lajares is less than a half hour’s ride away, and you could combine this with buying some supplies for your self catering accommodation in Majanicho. Other more unusual activities include four wheel drive tours and even camel treks across the dunes.

Places to Visit on Holiday in Majanicho, Fuerteventura

Fuerteventura is an interesting island that has more to offer than simply sun and sand. A visit into the towns of Lajares and Correlejo will reveal markets, squares and churches. Correlejo has both a water park and a zoo to keep the kids entertained, and a short boat trip would take you out to the island of Los Lobos. If you have a day free, you could even visit close by Lanzarote for a change of scenery! In addition, don’t forget the interior of Fuerteventura, where the hills and mountains offer a stark contrast to common perceptions of the island.

Weather in Majanicho, Fuerteventura

Fuerteventura has quite remarkable weather, and is often called the island of eternal spring. This means that a holiday in Majanicho is possible at any time of the year. During the summer, the maximum daily temperatures can reach 35 degrees Celsius, and at night, it rarely drops below 20 degrees. During the winter months, average highs measure 22 degrees, and can drop to 15 degrees at night. Rainfall is a mere 8 inches for the entire year. Compare that, if you will, to the UK, when that much can fall in a matter of a fortnight!

Faro Park villa

5 of 5
This was a lovely villa in a quiet location. There was everything you need for an enjoyable stay. It is close to a supermarket and some very good restaurants and bars. We particularly liked Port of Call and The Lounge Bar. The main area of Playa Blanca is a bus or taxi ride, or energetic walk away. It also helped that we had great weather! We would very happily go back here.

What a brilliant stay, great villa, great hosts

5 of 5
We had an excellent, relaxing holiday here. Alison and Graham met us at the villa and were always on hand during our stay. They kindly left us a bottle of fizz for our first anniversary - a really nice touch. Listing for the villa was accurate and the villa was really well equipped - it felt less like a holiday rental and more like your own home in the sun. Wifi worked well and you were able to get a couple of English channels on the television, not that we really used it. Everyday we took a gin and tonic up to the sun terrace at 6pm and enjoyed sun until 8pm. It was almost too chilled to want to go out. The villa was really central and close to the nice shopping centre nearby which had a more Spanish feel than the resort itself. We had a car as we really enjoyed visiting the other beaches. Loads of restaurants in resort, some quite similar. We had two of our best meals at Boardriders 3 minutes walk from the villa, I would have no hesitation in recommending this villa and plan to return a some point. Thanks Alison and Graham from Simon and Katie xxx
