Caleta de Fuste, is purpose built for tourism, except the old fort which still stands proud amongst the new developments. It is also the sight of Fuerteventura's only 18 hole golf course.

Best villa we have stayed at in Corralejo

                                                          5 of 5
We have recently returned from a delightful stay at Villa Orange Light in sunny Corralejo. This was our 4th visit to Corralejo and we have stayed in various villas in the same area and have never been disappointed. This time though we were paying a more premium price so expectation was high. To this end Villa Orange Light did not disappoint. From the pictures and description you can see the facilities and get a feel for what’s provided but ultimately it’s the extra touches that set it apart from other villas we have stayed in. Inside the villa is well furnished and comfortable. The kitchen is extremely well equipped – aside from all the obvious are such luxuries as a juicer, an electric paella dish and a coffee maker. Cutlery and crockery is aplenty and we were greatly impressed by the range of glassware! If you have ever stayed in a villa for 6 and been greeted with 3 non matching wine glasses and a couple of tumblers you’ll know what I mean. Here there is every sort of glass, from pint to shot, and 6 of each. The Bluetooth stereo was used constantly, the TV can access British channels if you need a break from the sun and free wifi included which is a modern must that many still don't offer. The bedrooms are very comfortable with ample storage space and plenty of towels are provided including beach towels to save kilos if you are battling Ryanair’s baggage allowance police. Outside is where you spend the time though. We had great fun in the pool – it’s not heated but is fairly shallow so heats up a little through the day. The hot tub was the perfect balance and was great in late afternoon. There are comfortable sunbeds, the wonderfully shady day bed and even a ping pong table. We didn’t really use the roof terrace but everything was downstairs anyway. From the villa the town is 15/20 minutes walk (although there are taxis at the bottom of Calle Guirre) and the Mercadona supermarket a minutes drive away. It was a pleasure to deal with Marisa who was always available to help with our queries beforehand and available on What’s App whilst we were there (she also met us on our arrival). All in all a wonderful holiday in a wonderful villa. I’m sure we’ll be back.

This beautifully restored Finca was all we had hoped for a quiet stay away from the hustle and bustle of our busy lives back in the UK. Ana the owner was very helpful, showing us around the property and extensive grounds, we loved the Finca with its thick walls and beautifully decorated interior, the bathroom shower was excellent with a plentiful supply of hot water all day, the kitchen was well supplied with all we needed and a nice touch was the supply of detergents for the washing machine, which, we normally have to buy in self catering accommodation. Ana supplied a plentiful supply of fresh towels and bed linen every week on a Tuesday, a really nice touch was the lovely, white dressing gowns supplied for our use. I agree, a car is needed to be able to get out and about, but it's only about ten minutes drive on good roads to the big supermarket. I like running, and every morning I would go out at seven am when the birds were starting to sing, and run for half an hour, I found a good, circular route which I used, the roads are very quiet and any cars that did pass me were very courteous and gave me a nice wide berth, as a lady jogger I never felt worried about going out on my own. The swimming pool, at the owners residence was lovely, clean and deep. I swam a good few times during our three week stay there. The sunbathing facilities were excellent, sheltered and private, all in all we would recommend this lovely Finca and we will certainly be booking again.

                                                          Perfect Family Holiday Home

                                                          5 of 5
The property is everything that I had expected after doing my extensive homework on this website, the owner was waiting for us when we arrived with a couple of welcoming gifts and after a quick tour left us to start our Holiday. Costa Calma is a family oriented resort and is considered a "nicer" place than the other resorts on Fuerteventura. It is quiet, but does have a few bars and clubs to keep you entertained, along with a number of Hotels that can be utilised for entertainment. The Villa is situated in a nice area to the north of the town with a quick 5 minute walk to the beautiful beeches of the resort. To be honest the whole of the resort can be covered within a 30 min walk, so no issues in having to travel long distences for food or drink. The villa is enclosed by a wall, which would make this property very friendly for younger children, there are two double bedrooms on the ground floor with the main master bedroom on the first floor. A good kitchen and open living room / diner are also found on the ground floor. I would not hesitate in recommending this property and would like to thank the owner for being the perfect host.
