  • Beautiful sunsets

We could not fault this property. It was spacious, well equipped, clean and quiet. The view across to La Gomera was stunning, as were the sunsets. It was just a few minutes walk into the centre of Callao, where there were all the facilities needed for our stay. Thank you, Marianne, for an excellent stay.

  • Comfortable Villa, Convenient Location, Great Views
    5 of 5

The villa was well equipped, comfortable and very clean. We all slept well on the beds, and it was quiet at night. The location is generally very peaceful. The pool area is not overlooked, and it all felt very private. The views out from the terrace, where we ate all our meals, down to the sea and over to La Gomera are very nice. This was a bonus, as we'd previously stayed in a villa further down the hill and this had no views. The pool is a good size for swimming, floating or playing about. It was also very warm, bearing in mind we were there in October. We spent a lot of time outside, and barbequed on two of the nights. From the villa, you go down the hill to town. After about 2 minutes you'll hit a supermarket (bigger than it seems from the outside) and the first restaurant. Another minute takes you to two very good French bakeries. There's about another ten restaurants within ten minutes walk. Ten minutes will also take you down to the beach. Amazingly, given the climate, we weren't bothered by flies, mosquitoes, wasps, ants or cockroaches. I saw one cockroach outside, but not inside - like I say, the villa is obviously kept very clean. By car, it is about 20-30 minutes to Adeje, Las Americas and Siam Park. We also took a trip to Los Gigantes, which was about 50 minutes. It is about 30-40 minutes from the airport. All in all we had a great stay (self, wife and 9-year-old son) and would recommend the villa to others.
