The property has everything you need for a perfect stay including fresh eggs daily and is set in beautiful grounds. Eduardo is fantastic and could not do enough for us. I would certainly recommend this property for anyone wanting a quiet and peaceful environment and yet still close to supermarkets and restaurants. Thank you Eduardo for your kindness and excellent hospitality

  • Five months of bliss

We stayed at these wonderful apartments for five months. They are right beside the sea and at the edge of the Anaga mountains. The north of Tenerife is lush and green with brilliant coloured flowers, shrubs and trees. It is nothing like the arid south. The apartment was very spacious, spotlessly clean, the kitchen very well equipped, there were plenty of towels and bed linen. The beds were lovely and comfortable and there is secure parking for your car. Carmen the landlady is an angel, she was always friendly and caring. She invited us to visit the food market in Teguise and brought me up to Anaga Park. We saw Carmen once a month, she would correspond with us by email to arrange the visit, as she lived in another town. On our arrival, she met us at the apartment , with an eight litre bottle of water, pastries and a bottle of wine. We were very grateful after our long journey. The apartment was like a home from home. We had television with many english speaking stations, as well as spanish and german. If you want somewhere far from the pumping music and noise of the tourist locations, this is the place to go. The people of Bajamar are very easy going, so just sit back and relax. There are a plenty of restaurants and cafe's in the town. There is an excellent pool for litttle children and a play area outside the apartments. If you want to soak up the sun, there is a swimming pool on the roof . I preferred to be down by the big natural pools on the sea front. Its heaven to sit at the bar beside the pools and have an ice cold beer and watch the 'dancing waves' or the sunset. They do a delicious 'Americano sandwich', sardines, gambas and calamari. The barman is very pleasant and speaks good English. The more adventurous may prefer the super surfing, but we preferred to simply watch them catch one wave after another. For daily items go to the Mercado behind Sandra's clothes shop (lovely stuff inside) We enjoyed going to the La Posada bar/restaurant at least 15 times for their local dishes of chicken, rabbit, goat, ribs, octobus etc. Another recommendation is the hairdresser's, it's nearly opposite the benches, just under Pizza Java, Lourdes is the young hairdresser. She's fantastic at styling and coloring , it's best to make an appointment. There is a post office, bank and and pharmacy The local bus runs every half hour to La Laguna , Santa Cruz and all points in between. (€1.15 with a bonobus ticket).
