Nice place in a nice compound, good location

4 of 5
The apartment is part of the Marina Cape compound, which is definitely one of the prettiest such places along the coast, and quite relaxed. It is next door to Pomorie, Burgas is close (30km) and places like Irakli, Sozopol and even Varna within easy reach by car. The two pools are nice (although you sometimes need to scramble for free sunbeds, and the water could be a few degrees warmer) and the pool bar apparently never closes. The small beach is pleasant and located just below the compound. With location on the 1st floor, facing the bay and next to the beach passage, the apartment has a great location within the compound. A few small shortcomings: the compound's shop seems to never have fresh bread and pastry, which we felt was inexcusable given the number of tenants. It would be great if the apartment had a washing machine as using the common laundry can be a pain. Birds nesting below the roof often leave the corners of the terrace covered with...you know what. More importantly, the tap water appears to be of low quality, and the chemical plant located some 1km away from the compound sometimes fills the air with heavy sweet ugly smell...it happened twice during our 13 nights. Internet connection is paid - that should be clarified in the property description. Finally, parking can be a real pain when the compound gets full...but with a bit of manoeuvring skills one squeezes somewhere most of the time. Overall, we were really happy and enjoyed. Had it not been for the few small issues above, it would have been perfect.

Spacious villa with gorgeous view

5 of 5
We stayed for a week or so after travelling across Bulgaria and Greece. The villa was very spacious, the pool table likewise! The pool itself was lovely (but don't walk on the slate in the heat of the day!) It's only a few minutes from Obzor by car and walkable to a beach. Obzor has a small water park and all the usual banana and sofa rides. Great place - highly recommended!
