Make A Holiday Rental Apartment in Dobrich, Bulgaria, Your Home Away From Home

Dobrich is situated approximately 30km inland from the Black Sea coast in Bulgaria. Although the eighth biggest town in Bulgaria, it still retains a small town feel, and a holiday rental apartment in Dobrich is a great base from which to explore the surrounding region. Self catering accommodation in Dobrich contains all that you need to enjoy your stay, with all the mod-cons that you would expect from a modern apartment. With the coast less than a half hour’s drive away, and fascinating small towns and villages within easy access, a holiday in Dobrich is an excellent way to get to know Bulgaria better.

Places to Visit on Holiday in Dobrich, Bulgaria

Because of its position, your holiday rental apartment in Dobrich makes the perfect base to explore the immediate area, and farther afield should you so wish. Dobrich itself has several places to visit, such as the Ethnographic Museum and the Historical Museum. There is even a puppet theatre in town, which is a great hit with kids no matter which language they speak. Towards the coast, the towns of Balchik and Varna should be visited, with their mix of historic buildings and coastal views. At night, whilst Dobrich may not be the party capital of Europe, there are more than a few bars and a nightclub or two should you be interested.

An oasis of peace and tranquillity

5 of 5
A real gem of place, ideal for those wanting to recharge their batteries or "chillax" if you're a former politician. If relaxation is about a safe, comfortable, quiet location, far from the madding crowd, in the heart of the countryside, then this could be for you. Don't expect bright lights, relentless bars and clubbing, neon-lights and muzak. There's none of that: no inquisitive neighbours or even agricultural machinery in the surrounding fields; just blue sky and birdsong and time to catch up with yourself. It really is that quiet. If you are interested in "being seen at all the right places", don't bother - nobody is there to see you and no-one is looking (although I suspect you will eventually realise)! Rather, this is highly recommended for more discerning families and groups able to make their own entertainment. The villa is well-equipped with a very pleasant, walled garden, pool and separate outdoor kitchen (incl. bbq), although any more than four adults and (max.) two children would arguably be straining capacity. We would happily return and will start compiling a reading list for future visits.
