Salvador also has four parks, one of which is the Park of the City. This is a preservation area of the Atlantic forest and has many beautiful plants and flowers. Visitors might like to take a very short trip on the Lacerda Elevator, which carries passengers from Thome de Souza Square down to Cayru Square. There are taxis available at the airport and car rental companies are represented in the terminal building. These include Avis, Budget, Europcar and Hertz.
