Beautiful apartment, great location, super friendly host

5 of 5
My friend and I had a last minute change of plan and had to return to Rio after one day with no planned accommodation. We came across Marco’s place on HomeAway and enquiries to book 20:00 on Monday night. By 15:00 on Tuesday we were in the apartment being shown around my Marco. The apartment is perfect for what we wanted - close to the beach, clean, bright and safe. As we were two 25 year old female Marco was keen to check in via whatsapp each day to make sure everything was going well. It was much appreciated and far from obtrusive. The flat was equips with everything you’d want and the fridge already stocked with some water and beer. All the little extras Marco left were really appreciated - including eye masks, city guides, tips on how to get around, spare metro cards etc. All in all an absolute haven of calm and quiet in a hectic but beautiful city. Thank you Marco!
