This brand new apartment has it all! Two beautiful bedrooms with ultramodern walk in showers. Fully equipped, modern kitchen/dining/living room area with ceiling to floor glass doors and outside deck that afford spectacular views of all of Oostende and the vibrant maritime activity that is in constant motion. The high definition TV’s have dozens of channels in every major language. Your keys include a garage door opener to the completely secure underground parking with a lift that zips you up to the fifth floor apartment. There is a full size washer and separate dryer which is wonderful. The WiFi is fast and powerful and fully capable of handling any number of electronics. It is a short walk (or drive with free parking) to the free ferries that make the crossing across the harbor to the city every few minutes. The crossing takes only 5 minutes and they run before sunup to after dark. Ann, the owner, who is multilingual, warmly welcomed us and will always be reachable during your stay to answer any questions you might have. She is truly a genuinely warm person who will go out of her way to make your stay as delightful as possible! Five stars are not nearly enough!!

  • Great property, some easily resolved issues

We had a lovely week, after a stressful start. Beautiful, spacious, clean apartment, we hired bikes in Bredene, easy access to the beach, very secure building, and quiet/peaceful neighbourhood. We would certainly recommend the apartment itself. Some minor practical details which would take no time at all to fix: no corkscrew, no kitchen bin, no laundry hangar for drying wet beach towels, only 1 small kitchen knife, a second set of keys. Interhome assure us these will be sorted. The apartment information folder needs more practical information (what to do with rubbish bags, recycling, which parking space under the block is yours). Communication with the local Interhome office wasn't easy. Office hours were not always useful, closing at 5pm, and we couldn't get through on the telephone number given. Due to a miscommunication we had to sleep on mattresses the first night as we arrived at 6pm, which isn't that late, couldn't collect bedding and couldn't get hold of anyone until the following day, despite the Zurich Interhome helpline spending a long time trying to contact their local agents. The problems were sorted very effectively the following morning.
