Lovely super central flat

4 of 5
The apartment is lovely and extremely central, most points of interest can be reached by foot. There are also 2 underground stations a few minutes away. Katarine and her son were very friendly and keen in giving suggestions as to what to visit, where to eat, drink and party! The flat is clean, modern, and comfortably accomodates 4 people. Just a minor suggestion: although most people don't bother using the kitchen if they only spend a few days, it would be great to leave a couple of basics, such as salt, pepper, sugar... because if you have to buy every little thing you don't even try. A warning if you are travelling by car: parking is difficult to find and very expensive. It is free in the street after 18:00 (if you find a space), but make sure you pay for a few hours of the morning if you are planning to have a lay in (we got a fine and learnt our lesson on day 1). Covered car parks are available, but so expensive that you are better off paying a fine every day ;-) This is of course not the fault of the owner, but was definitely a problem for us and the main reason for the 4****. We had a great stay and would love to come back without a car!

Location great; spacious, well equipped apartment.

4 of 5
Apartment is really large, light and spacious with lots of room for our family gathering. It was very well equipped - all the kitchen consumables really appreciated and the lovely child's bedding in the cot. Our friends were in another apartment in the same building which meant lots of trips up and down the stairs which are beautiful but very steep and it would help if there was a bannister on the wall side. There was a problem with the boiler but the landlords sent someone very promptly to sort it and the apartment was then very well heated. The location is excellent and we could walk everywhere. It was not a problem to leave by 10.30 on the Sunday as there are plenty of luggage lockers at the station, leaving us free to do more exploring. We had a great weekend. Thank you.
