Make a holiday rental house or beach villa in St Peter, Barbados your home away from home

The parish of St Peter (Saint Peter) is in the northern part of Barbados, and is one of only two parishes of Barbados with a coastline on both sides of the island (the other being St Lucy). It is a tourist hotspot in Barbados, and currently boasts Barbados’ only marina. Home to all that is great about Barbados, St Peter is one of the finest exotic holiday destinations in the world.

Things to do on holiday in St Peter, Barbados

Of course, the beaches of St Peter, Barbados are an incredible asset, and are the main draw for those renting holiday accommodation in St Peter’s many seaside villages. The gloriously fine sand, warm, clear waters and tropical vegetation mean that the beaches of St Peter seem like they have come straight from a postcard, and in many cases, they have been!

The sea is warm and teeming with aquatic life. Snorkelling and scuba diving are delightful ways to explore this watery habitat, and sailing and windsurfing are hugely popular too, taking advantage of the reliable breezes which also help to keep the air fresh. Fishing in St Peter, Barbados is an unrivalled experience, relaxing out on the calm sea with a beer, trying to catch huge tropical fish in the afternoon sun. On land, there are ample opportunities to play tennis, explore the island on foot and even play golf!

If you are hoping for an afternoon away from the lure of the beaches, the Barbados Wildlife Reserve is just a few miles from the coastline. This is one of the best places to see the Barbados Green Monkey in its natural environment, and there are some truly amazing creatures roaming free! The Farley Hill National Park, which lies just across the road, is also very much worth exploring from a St Peter villa. Surrounding the most impressive mansion in Barbados, Farley Hill, the park offers unbeatable views along the rugged coast, and has become a favourite place for weddings in Barbados!

Places to holiday in St Peter, Barbados

Speightstown is home to the island’s only marina, Port St. Charles, and was the first major commercial centre in Barbados. It boasts some of the nicest rental properties in St Peter, as well as some captivating art galleries and some fascinating reminders of Barbados’ turbulent past.

Offering some of the most secluded beaches upon which you cannot help but think of paradise, unspoilt natural habitats, filled with wildlife and a range of charming golf course, amongst other facilities, a rental villa here offers you a little taste of everything that has made Barbados the panicle of holiday destinations.

Weather in St Peter, Barbados

Cee Cee Barbados is Paradise!

5 of 5
Cee Cee Barbados is a slice of Paradise. Off the well-worn touristy path but still very accessible to anywhere on the island you wish to go, Cee Cee is a lovely breath of fresh air. The rental apartment is bright, roomy and breezy. Enjoy your morning coffee on the patio overlooking a beautiful private garden, and don’t forget to pick a couple of mangoes from the mango tree for breakfast. Two stunning beaches are a three-minute walk from Cee Cee’s. The northern beach, Mullins, offers chairs and umbrellas, a place for food and drinks, and lovely swimming in the ocean. The southern beach, Gibbes, is a gem. Seemingly undiscovered, the white sand and the turquoise ocean water invite you to what feels like your own private hideaway. The snorkeling is outstanding at both beaches: each reef has different wonders from colorful fish to octopus to turtles. Situated between two very accessible towns, Holetown to the south and Speightstown to the north, you can easily get to shopping, groceries and restaurants. Dine out at the delicious local restaurants, or pick up food to BBQ back at Cee Cee‘s and enjoy dinner on the private patio. And of course you can try out the beaches in those towns as well! Our vacation at Cee Cee’s was perfect. This was our 25th wedding anniversary, and we came with our children to celebrate. We had the best vacation ever. The apartment was comfortable and very clean, and had plenty of room for the four of us.. It was a perfect place to lay our heads every night after each wonderful day. We explored the island by bus and by car, going to Bridgetown and the East Coast and other local sights, but every day we were certain to come back to enjoy Mullins or Gibbes beaches. It was what made every day so perfect. Sandra, our delightful housekeeper, came every weekday to clean the apartment and do our laundry (a bonus!). Antoine the gardener was charming and kept the garden looking beautiful. And our hostess Charlene treated us like family: always there for suggestions, a little history, and ideas for fantastic things to do. She loves her home and the island, and she shares that love. You may come to Cee Cee as strangers, but you will leave as friends, and have Barbados in your heart forever. I highly recommend Cee Cee Barbados as the place to stay!

Beautiful home with amazing views.

5 of 5
My husband and family enjoyed a blissful holiday in this house, which was all we had hoped for and more. The house is in a peaceful secluded position with fantastic sea views, yet close to a selection of fantastic beaches and with in easy reach of great restaurants, bars and shopping. The infinity pool and garden are stunning. Harry the house manager was discreetly available and attentive and Bibi the cleaner kept the house spotless. The rooms are large, airy and beautifully decorated, and beds superbly comfortable. Overall the villa was a very high standard. We hope to come again…
