This delightful villa was the highlight of our stay in Barbados

5 of 5
This is the perfect retreat! It is in hills in the middle of the island, away from the hustle and bustle and the pretensions of the west coast resorts. It is totally private, surrounded by tropical foliage, and is serenely quiet and peaceful. The only intrusion is the occasional car passing on the road below, the birdsong and the monkeys passing through the gardens. The property is beautifully equipped with everything you could wish for, and kept spotlessly clean by Greta. The wifi is good, the pool is warm, everything works! You will need a car to travel around the island and there is easy parking outside the front door. Barbados is an expensive island, so we enjoyed the facilities to shop and cook for ourselves. The nearest supermarket is in Massy's in Hole Town, although we used the little shop in Endeavour several times for basics. We highly recommend this villa to anyone wanting to experience the real Barbados.
