Clermont is an upmarket residential area in the parish of St. James, on Barbados - the easternmost Caribbean island. Clermont, Barbados has a moderate tropical climate, meaning distinct wet and dry seasons exist. The wet season runs from June to November, and the dry season runs from December to May. The temperature is reasonably constant all year round, with peak temperatures of around 33C and a yearly average of 26C, though northeast trade winds cool the area considerably.
Grantley Adams International Airport (BGI) lies a short distance outside of Bridgetown, the islands capital city. From here it is 20km to Clermont.
