Wonderful location. Perfect view of whole town & lake. Modern, clean & tidy apartment.

5 of 5
We've been to Zell am See for 3 years in a row and this has been the best apartment we've stayed in. It's in a really good location close to the town. What we also loved was the outside terrace that was a good size to chill out on, with an amazing view of the lake & town. The apartment was modern, clean & tidy. We hope to book this again in the winter for our ski holiday.

Neat and spacious, close to facilities.

4 of 5
The domestic features were fine, once I had managed to refit the thermostat to one radiator to reduce the heat on a hot sunny day. Unfortunately the satellite TV did not work, but it did mean we missed the final few days of the UK general election. A few hidden sights which are not well publicised - The church attached to Schloss Prielau just north of the Seepromenade is well worth a look. Untersulzbach waterfall in the upper Salzach valley. It's a gentle walk from Sulzbachtaler halt or Neukirchen station on the Pinzgau local line from Zell am See. It's spectacular but without the tourist throng at Krimml. The facitites athe paths around the falls, a National park display and an Gastof halfway back to Sulzbachtaler halt There are plenty of opportunities for low level / easy walks between stations on both OBB and Pinzgau lines. It does help to have detailed 1/50000 or 1/30000 maps ( we used KOMPASS maps) as some of the way marking is a bit sketchy between main locations. The railway museum at Schwarts St Veit is well worth visiting for any railway rnthusiasts. (Opening times: beginning of May to beginning of October Wednesday-Saturday 1-5pm, Sunday & public holidays 10am-5pm July and August also Thursday 7-10pm ). It's a spectacular train ride from Zell.
