A perfect apartment to stay for skiing in Auffach

5 of 5
We are a family of 4 and stayed in the apartment to ski half term week in Auffach. I would highly recommend the apartment. It is spotlessly clean , warm and the host CHristine is very accommodating. Every morning she would leave a buffet breakfast outside our door consisting of fresh bread, eggs, cheese, hams, milk, yogurt, etc. So nice to wake up and bring the breakfast into the apartment and then get all the ski gear on. There is a boot/ski room in the basement to leave all the ski gear. The apartment is about 1km from the ski lift. There is a free ski bus that goes past the apartment but we found it easier to put the ski,s in the estate car and drive down as plenty free parking by the gondola. There is also ski storage in Auffach. Ski ing in Auffach is very reasonable and great value for food and drink in the many ski huts on the slopes . The village is very low key and most restaurants empty by 9pm. Suited us as we were happy to cook a meal in apartment in evening after a long day ski ing . The ski Jewel pass is great as you can ski in neighbouring village alpbach although we preferred the slopes at Auffach. We flew to MUnich and it is an easy journey to Auffach. Just under 2hours . I am sure a summer holiday here would be just as fun ! Thank you Christine for making us feel so welcome on your lovely farm The Foreman family
