Lovely cottage in a perfect location

5 of 5
We had a wonderful stay at Riverside Cottage. It was our first trip to Austria and we couldn't have chosen better accommodation or location. The cottage was cosy, clean and welcoming after two very long days of driving, with all the facilities needed. Especially happy with the brand new freezer - lots of ice for the evening drinks and nice to be able to shop for a few days in one go. Our favourite bit was the cycle path - we spent many hours setting off from the cottage to cycle, stopping for lunch, then cycling back. As my husband had a fractured foot at the time and couldn't walk too far this was even more important to us. Loved sitting in the outside (but inside) area both for breakfast and in the evening. Enjoyed falling asleep to the sound of the river running past and waving to the people in their canoes as they whizzed by. ~The steam trains were fun to see and the daily trains were not intrusive at all. Would recommend Riverside Cottage to anyone wanting a pretty retreat and hope to be able to return in the future.
