Wonderful home from home!

5 of 5
Having loved our first stay in Chalet Kitzalp in September 2015, we booked again for June 2017 and we have not been disappointed. Karl's house is situated just on the outskirts of Sankt Johann, a lovely little town with good restaurants and shops. The house itself has everything you need and with the addition of the fabulous, partly shaded decking area outside, our two weeks were a complete delight. Comfortable beds, really well equipped kitchen, ample space, good showers and very clean. We even had the use of the washing machine and tumble drier so we are returning home with no washing to do 😀 With fabulous views of the mountains, you couldn't hope for a better place to stay in the Tyrol area. Karl is an extremely friendly chap who is very welcoming and extremely helpful if you need advice or information on the area. Thank you, Karl, for everything - we've had a brilliant holiday again this year and we are looking forward to our next visit! Elaine, Dave, Moira and Moira.

Just wonderful!

5 of 5
We had the best time in St.Johan, the apartment had the most beautiful view of the city and mountains, and you could even sit outside on the private deck and enjoy it. We went there primarily for skiing, and it was perfect for this, as you just had a short 5 min walk trough the city to the main gondola lift. After skiing it was so nice to get back to the apartment for a warm bath in the tub or a card game on the deck or in the living room, where you could enjoy the sunset over the mountains. Close by was a really nice italian restaurant that Terri recommended, called La Rustica. They served the best pizzas and risottos! The apartment has a very nice atmosphere, and everything was clean and in good order. Kitchen was well equipped and there was plenty of space. There was loads of fun activities in walking distance including; skiing (slalom and cross country), spa and swimming, hiking, ice skating, shopping and a farmers market on fridays. If you want a fun night out, we can highly recommend Max's pub on wednesday where they had kareoke. The alpine ski area was a really nice, lots of pists, stunning views and not to crowded. Finally Terri was a really nice host that helped us with everything we needed to know and had lots of good tips on restaurants and the area in general. Definitely staying here again!
