Great location

4 of 5
Attractive, well maintained property in great location. Easy walk to centre of the lovely town on Lofer. Hiking and cycling trails on your doorstep through the beautiful, surrounding area. Fun things to do include white water rafting (company Motion Centre is easy walk from property), Wandergolf, family hikes on the Loferer Alm (reached by goldola), summer toboggan run, thermal baths (great for a rainy day) and the lovely local swimming pool in Lofer . We took our bikes and were not disappointed by the lovely trails (many flat and suitable for families). Lofer itself is a great little town with cafes, restaurants with a vibrant, traditional Austrian culture. We had the one of the first floor apartments with a balcony, which was lovely. My only criticism was that the property lacked garden furniture for the upper apartments to use if wishing to make use of the lovely shared garden. Also, despite the property listing there was no ping-pong, hot tub or gym. A great holiday for active families who don't mind the odd days of rain.

Super ski holiday in waidring, this is a great location to get to many of the best of the Tirol ski resorts we did 5 in six days kitzbuhel, st johann, fieberbrun, pass thurn and steinplatte twice. Apartment is so comfortable and great for our needs. Warm private, very clean and lots of hot water for the ski legs after a long day on the slopes. We'll come back when returning to this area for sure.
