A lovely self catering experience

The apartment was clean, spacious and modern. There were 7 of us and I think the seating in the living room/kitchen isn't enough to relax in the evening. There is a sofa for 3 to sit comfortably and two individual comfortable chairs, two of us sat at the table every night.....not ideal. We hired a van to transport us from Salzburg but the indoor parking slot was too small to put it in however we did park out front without a problem, it does need to be dug out on snowy mornings though. The location is quiet and a lovely picturesque village. Easy to hire skis in nearby piesendorf which included as promised a 10% discount very reasonable prices with good kit. A really lovely and cheap supermarket on the main road ensured we had everything we needed for cooking and having a few drinks in! If it's a lively apres ski you are after this may not be for you. Location was great but I would definitely say own transport is required as it gives you the freedom to choose between ski resorts. The weather can really guide where is best to ski that day so having the ability to jump in your own vehicle was essential for us. Also each area we skied had easy access to free parking......just follow the signs. When leaving the property the only pain is sorting all the rubbish out, also as you are leaving at an early time of 10 am anyway we would have preferred if the cleaners weren't stripping the beds when we are packing and leaving ourselves. I thought that was why you left early! We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and would recommend the property for a lovely comfortable stay in a very quiet location with great access to great skiing!
