AMAZING!

5 of 5
We only stayed for 4 nights and it wasn't long enough! The house is absolutely lovely and the view from the garden is stunning - perfect setting for a BBQ, which we did most nights. Too good to go out somewhere else. Really nice decor inside and there's everything you need. There were 5 of us and felt like we had loads of space. It's a little bit of a hike up the hill to the house, but there's a nice hotel a couple of minutes walk away. Plenty of car parking space too. Millstatt is lovely for a vacation - serene, stunning, quiet even when it's busy. Great cycling around the lake and plenty of cafes, bars & restaurants to choose from. I really can't rate the house any higher. We'd definitely go back if we return to Austria and Sandra & her family gave us a lovely welcome & were contactable if we had any questions. Perfect place to stay! :)

A peaceful week in the Austrian hills.

I spent a wonderfully peaceful week at Paul and Kathy's house in Buggl. It was the end of the winter so I managed to get a couple of days of skiing in at local resorts (around one hour's drive) and also enjoyed some gentle strolling in the hills straight from the house; one day lunching in Italy, and a trip to Lake Bled another day. The property was very well equipped with everything one might require and all correspondence with Paul and Kathy prior to my visit was replied to very promptly and efficiently. They were great hosts.
