Clean, neat and easy access to catch local transportation to the city. More information on the area would have been nice but it was fun finding the local eateries on our own.

We enjoyed our experience overall but there were some issues. When we arrived, the checkin experience was excellent but when we went in, we felt as though the last cleaning had been quite awhile ago. There was no battery in the clock, the light on the balcony was burnt out and the balcony itself was a mess. The tiles were moldy and very cluttered with leaves and debris and the cushions on the furniture was old and somewhat smelly. Having said that, when we contacted L'Abode, they had a team of three cleaners and a supervisor at the condo within the hour and they worked very hard to remedy all of the above plus supply us with dish and dishwasher soap, tea, and treats. We can't say enough about the company itself. Some other minor comments: for a nice place like this, the kitchen flatware, (knives, forks etc) was the cheapest quality I have ever seen. One would think that for $25 a four piece setting could be left that would be more appropriate for a condo in this price range. There was a Nespreso type coffee maker left with no samples so we took a dirty cartridge to Coles to try and match it (which we did, and the machine worked well) A couple of fresh ones left for us would have been nice. The bedroom and bathroom cupboards had a distinct musty odor which we recognize must be hard to avoid in a hot, humid climate when there is no air conditioning. Again, the fact that all of the windows opened helped, and sleeping temperatures were reasonable. The TV reception is an antenna source in the bedroom and was very spotty. It was often pixcelated and the color of the screen went from normal to green every few minutes ,even with a different signal from my computer. A bit more attention to some of the above would greatly improve the experience. Communication with L'Abode was easy. Given the initial cleanliness I strongly question the $280 (Aus) cleaning fee. This seems very excessive compared to other places we have stayed.
