  • Fabulously modern holiday pad!

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful, modern home just a few minutes drive from Nannup town centre. Highlights include easy access to the state forest at the rear of the property, quality linen and towels, nice artwork, visiting kangaroos and bird life including scarlet robins and black cockatoos and a fresh, modern, newly built home with lots of light. There are two generous main bedrooms for 2x couples, one with an ensuite, and two gorgeously decorated smaller bedrooms for children with bunks. We enjoyed the quality chess set and uno games. The open plan living area is flooded with natural light (lots of big sliding glass doors offering views out over the block and across to the forest...we saw kangaroos bounding across every evening) and offers a generously proportioned kitchen with island bench and stools, a large dining table and comfy lounge area. The owners were attentive and generous but happy to leave us to enjoy the property. We came home feeling relaxed and refreshed and would stay again in a heart beat!

We had a wonderful weekend escape from city life to this great little cottage nestled next to the River. No wifi, no mobile reception, no tv. Just what you need to reset the clock. The cottage was clean, comfortable and toasty with the wood fire much appreciated. The perfect spot for reading a book or doing a puzzle. The bed was wonderfully cosy... a little too hard to get out of in the mornings. Peter & Brownie were friendly hosts and looked after us very well. I would suggest taking a Bluetooth speaker if you enjoy some music. Otherwise sit back, relax and enjoy the peace and quiet.
