Make a holiday rental villa or apartment in Mornington Peninsula, Australia your home away from home

Mornington Peninsula holiday houses and villas are found in an area of central Victoria that is naturally diverse while affording everything a holidaymaker could want. Natural attractions include numerous beaches both sheltered and open sea making this area perfect for families in search of shallow safe beaches for swimming and relaxing and surfers in search of thrilling waves. All the water sports are found here, from fishing to sailing to scuba diving which is particularly good with wreck, reef, scallop, seal and drift dives. Hang gliding is also possible from the steep cliffs around Point Nepean.

Inland there are farms, mountains, wineries, golf courses galore and park lands. In fact, if you’re wanting a few round of golf while staying in a holiday villa or apartment on Mornington Peninsula you have a choice of 14 excellent clubs and courses from Devilbend Golf Club with 18 holes to National Golf Club with 54 holes. Many of the wineries here have guided tours and tastings as well as excellent restaurants. Be sure to try the local Pinot Noir, they don’t produce much wine here but what they do is excellent.

In a Mornington Peninsula holiday villa you are in one of four biosphere reserves in Victoria so not surprisingly there are twelve natural parks from Arthur’s Seat State Park, the highest point on the peninsula at 305 meters above sea level down to Coolart Wetlands. Nature here is as diverse as it is interesting from mangroves to bush land, from rocky coast to meadows. Running, cycling, hiking and mountain biking are all popular past times.

What a grand old house. Shades of Gatsby and Long Island. This is a very special environment in which to stay.

Highly recommend

We are a big family of 20 and this was one of the few places I was able to find that would accommodate everyone. The distance to the beach and games room was a real winner for the kids and the house itself was well equipped for preparing meals. Donna and Mark were extremely helpful throughout and I would highly recommend staying here with a big group.
