We stayed for a week in this house. There were 10 adults and 1 baby and there was plenty of room for everyone. There is a master suite with an ensuite and WIR, and another bathroom with a bath and shower, as well as two extra toilets. The main attraction of the house is it's wonderful position, on a block jutting out into the Derwent, with views on two sides. Lee, the owner, said we would never want to leave and he was right. It was so pleasant to sit in the huge living room looking at the river. We saw many ducks, swans, a pod of dolphins and a double rainbow. Always in the background is Mt Wellington. We watched the snow recede and then be replaced. The house is very well insulated with air locks out onto the baconies so we were never cold. It is some distance from central Hobart but we took day trips into town and also to MONA, very close, and the lovely town of Richmond. Several supermarkets are a short drive away and we had dinner each night in the house.
