  • Wonderful location and an enjoyable stay!

Alluvion Beach Cottage occupies a wonderful position on the banks of the Swan River and Moulting Lagoon. It provides an excellent base for exploring the beauty of the Freycinet Peninsular National Park (the walk up to the Wineglass Bay viewpoint is a must do!) and the areas around Bicheno with its penguins and Swansea. Alluvion Beach Cottage itself is a great place for bird watching with many species seen in the area and we saw wallabies close by. An attempted kayaking trip was a disappointment as the kayaks we hired at the cottage are really only suitable for children playing in the immediate area rather than an excursion of any distance by adults and there is little depth of water under most of the tidal range. We really enjoyed our stay at Alluvion and were really impressed by the National Park which provided the highlights of our visit to east Tasmania.

  • Wonderful revitalising getaway!

My boyfriend and I stayed 2 nights at the wonderful pachamama. This eco friendly, inspiring retreat is run by Alexis, who is one beautiful soul. He is very welcoming, accomodating and has created a great space to unwind, get back in touch with nature, your mind, body and soul. Very comfortable tent we stayed in, absolutely stunning beach front the property is on and just having a chat with Alexis and the other travellers made for such a great time. Highly recommend this place and feel nothing but happiness to found this place.
