We stayed here to attend the Narooma Oyster Festival, it was fantastic. Great little yard for the dog. 2 minutes drive to the dog friendly beach and a paddock for her to run in. Great feeding the chickens. Everything you need in the cottage. Fabulous views. Friendly staff. Close to alot of beautiful South Coast towns. Would recommend. Will be back next year.
We had a wonderful time at Didi's. I have never arrived to find a holiday home quite as pristine – thumbs up to the cleaner. There were 6 of us; 4 adults and two teenagers and there is a lot of space if you want time on your own as Didi’s cottage has three different decks –one of them covered out the front, and another sort of above with lovely water views and great clear views of the stars. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a great collection of dvds, books, kids toys and ping pong and darts in the garage if the weather isn’t so great. The gardens were very pretty and made it a really restful place to hang. There's a cinema in Narooma and winery, markets and lovely stores in Tilba. The highlight of the holiday though, was the wildlife. In Narooma; seals on the rocks and rays in the shallow inlet. We waited 4 days for the winds and high seas to subside so the boats could get to Montegue Island which in itself is worth the visit. The NP guide was fantastic but the highlight was snorkelling with the seals; magic. In the rockpools at Mystery Bay we saw some species of sea worm and rare sea anenomes we hadn’t seen before, brittle sea stars and the snorkelling there was amazing; lovely fish and octopi. We saw lizards and a harmless diamond python and an array of birdlife. It was just lovely. There is very limited phone reception and no data connection. My - and other -teenagers found their way up to the headland by the camp site to check in with the real world. The rest of us found it only too easy to escape it there!!
