  • Quiet retreat overlooking the bay

Property was as advertised. A few things that needed to be touched up but didn't interfere with overall function. We did not rent a car and made out quite well for 2 weeks using taxis as our transportation. Would probably be easier if you had a car as the hills are steep - going down was easy, back up not as easy especially for seniors. Marie was very personable and helpful with suggestions on places to go and arranging taxis for us. One thing that could be added to the unit is a free standing fan that could be moved where needed for those who mind the heat, which we did suggest. A short walk to the beach and restaurants, a longer one to the grocery store. Property pool looked very nice but we did not use it. Anyone staying here should have a great vacation.

  • Lovely family stay

We stayed in the villa as a family of 5. A5 year old, 2 year old a 5 months. We couldn't fault the villa in terms of space. The veranda was fantastic and for the first week I spent most evenings out there once the children were in bed, however for some reason I don't know, in the second week there seemed to be an influx of moths. The kitchen was well equipped but the large oven only had one shelf, this meant that on the evening we chose to have 2 pizzas for dinner, I had to cook one pizza and then cook the next. Eating out on the island is not cheap, so to be able to cook at home is a bonus, however being limited as to how much can go in the oven at once makes this slightly more difficult. The bedrooms were of a good size and beds comfortable. I think that the selling point for this villa is the view which is amazing. The pool was great for the kids. We did have some teething problems but they were quickly sorted by the owner and Valerie, the housekeeper, both were helpful and friendly. I would stay here again as it was a perfect space for the family in a perfect location
