While living in Naples, Italy for 3 years, she penned the Espresso Break Blog, created the Naples (Napoli) Travel Information Guide, and went on to write The Espresso Break: Tours and Nooks of Naples, Italy and Beyond.

Since moving back to California, Barbara has teamed up with Napoli Unplugged to create a second edition of her Espresso Break, the new Napoli Unplugged Guide to Naples and has willed her Naples stories to live on in the Napoli Unplugged pages.
