Eleuthera is home to 50 beaches, many of which are accessible on foot or by 4x4 only. Crowds on the beach are almost completely unheard of from an Eleuthera villa, but the further you walk from your beach house, the more remote, secluded and inspiring the beach landscapes become. On the rare occasions that an Atlantic storm strikes this strip of land, it is advised not to head out, as there is little protection from the elements. However, this has only happened once since 2001.
