Here visitors can enjoy the benefits of the Pacific Ocean to the west and many interesting things to do and see. Weather in Northern Baja, Mexico

It can get very hot in Northern Baja during the summer with average highs of 42 degrees centigrade in July, while temperatures between April and October average over 30 degrees centigrade. Whilst the average highs in December and January are 21 degrees, the low temperatures can dip to 5 degrees centigrade. This is a very dry area with average rainfall less than three inches.

Travel to Northern Baja, Mexico

Although there are international airports at Tijuana and Mexicali it is probably easiest to fly to San Diego International Airport (SAN) and drive from there. Tijuana is just 25 miles from San Diego, where flights arrive from cities such as Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Los Angeles, New York, Phoenix, San Francisco and Toronto. Visitors from elsewhere in the world can fly to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and either get a connecting flight to San Diego or drive direct to Northern Baja, which will take between two and a half and three hours. Flights from many international cities arrive at Los Angeles including Amsterdam, Dubai, Frankfurt, Hong Kong, London, Moscow, Paris, Sydney, Tokyo, Toronto and Zurich.
