It is at the foot of one of Galicia’s smaller mountains, has a pretty beach, a small fishing harbour or port and an attractive little town plaza. Behind the town there is forest and the verdant countryside common on the Atlantic coast. The closest beach with water sport facilities is Playa de Quenxe.
