A great way to see the countryside is on the Sargan Eight Railway at Mokra Gora. The 2 mile (3.5km) journey up the mountain takes an hour!

Serbia has a moderate continental climate inland, and a Mediterranean climate along its coastline. Generally the coast is drier than the inland areas and much warmer. Expect temperatures to reach 26°C (79°F) in July on the coast, but just 19°C (66°F) further inland. Temperatures at just above freezing on the coast in January, and well below freezing with snowfall on the mountains.
